If you have transplanted yourself to the Seattle area then you know that there are plenty of customs to learn and habits to adopt if you’re going to assimilate with the locals.
Back to work tomorrow and the weather is looking quiet for the first few days.
After all, every single person I told about my impending move gave me the same warning: “It rains all the time there!”
A weak front will cross western Washington tomorrow, but the overall weather picture is still looking pretty good.
A mini heat wave for the first few days in May will come to an end starting tomorrow. I say “mini heat wave” because it only kicked in for one day ... today!
You might have noticed that my weather colleagues and I have been stepping up efforts on our website to keep you informed and up-to-date about the amazing and often very interesting weather here in the PNW.
We will make a run at 80 tomorrow and that means a new record will probably be set. And here’s an interesting observation: the average high temperature in July is 77 degrees.
The weather forecast looks good for another day before some rain showers and cooler temperatures arrive.
Skies will be mainly sunny this afternoon and overnight should be just partly cloudy. Low temperatures this evening will drop back to the mid and lower 40’s.
