SEATTLE, Wash. — The weather forecast for the rest of the weekend looks pretty good. However, you can say goodbye to those amazing 70° temperatures we saw yesterday.
The extended forecast through the rest of the month calls for more normal temperatures across the area. That means highs in the upper 50s and lows in the 40s.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low temperature around 45° to start Sunday. There will be widespread fog around Puget Sound mainly south and throughout the southwest interior.
After the fog lifts Sunday afternoon, we will see some sunshine and a high temperature in the upper 50s to around 60°.
A trough of low pressure will set up off the West Coast, and a storm system is expected to drop down into the trough Monday and Tuesday. No rain is expected in our area.
Foggy mornings and variable clouds in the afternoon will be the rule for the first few days of next week.
By late Thursday and Friday, a weak disturbance will try to cross the area with a few showers. It does not look like it will bring much rain.
To summarize the week ahead, it looks like we have several days of variable clouds and seasonal temperatures with an outlook for mainly dry conditions across Western Washington.
So far this month, Seattle has only recorded .06” inches of rain, which makes it one of the top 10 driest Octobers on record. It’s also been one of the top 13 warmest Octobers on record.
