BREMERTON, Wash. — A written threat was found Wednesday in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard of Bremerton, Wash.
The area was cleared by police.
The Wyckoff gate was closed as a result of the threat and investigation.
A written message implying a threat was found on board the USS Nimitz in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard on Wednesday morning.
As of 1:30 p.m., the area had been given the “all-clear,” so the pier and ship returned to normal operations, according to officials.
