DENVER — Thrift store employees have seen just about everything walk through their doors, but the employees of the Denver Arc store received a less-than-purrrrrrrfect drop-off on New Year’s Eve.
A Denver couple hurriedly donated a chair in the midst of a move, not realizing their beloved cat, Montequlla, had wedged itself inside the recliner, KDVR reported.

Fortunately, the agency stated, the responding officer was able to “soothe the friendly cat out without a problem” and later received a call from the owners, frantic to find Montequlla, the TV station reported.
The family and its beloved Montequlla have since been reunited, KDVR reported.
