PORT ARANSAS, Texas — This was quite a catch.
A 13-year-old Texas boy reeled in a tiger shark weighing 844 pounds during a 36-hour offshore trip with his father, KTRK reported.
Micah Harless, of Weatherford, caught the 12-foot shark and weighed it at the Port Aranas South Jetty.
The jetty posted a video on its Facebook page of the shark being hoisted to be weighed.
Harless said he and his father plan to save some of the meat for themselves and donate the rest, KTRK reported.
