SAN DIEGO — Former NFL player Kellen Winslow Jr. is back in jail in San Diego after being charged with lewd conduct in incidents that allegedly happened while he was out on bail for rape charges.
Winslow, 35, is accused of engaging in lewd conduct in front of a 77-year-old woman at his gym twice last month, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported. He's charged with two counts of lewd conduct, and one count each of battery of an elder and willful cruelty to an elder -- all misdemeanors.

Winslow has pleaded not guilty and was ordered to remain on house arrest, according to court documents. But on Monday, a judge ordered Winslow to be booked into jail without bail.
At the time of the February incidents, Winslow was out on bail following an arrest in June on burglary charges, Sports Illustrated reported. Winslow was accused of raping two women and breaking into the homes of two other women, ages 71 and 86, intending to rape them. He was also charged with indecent exposure to a 55-year-old woman. These incidents are alleged to have occurred between March 2018 and June 2018.
A trial on the rape charges is scheduled for next month, according to the Union-Tribune.
If convicted on all previous counts, Winslow could be sentenced to life in prison. He has denied all allegations against him.
Winslow is the son of Chargers Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow. Winslow Jr.’s NFL career started with the Cleveland Browns in 2004. He also played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and New York Jets.
