“I saw the guy that killed my brother,” she cried in the hallway of the Pierce County courthouse. “My brother didn’t deserve that. He didn’t deserve that and our family didn’t deserve that.”

According to the charges Hobert Clark was arguing with the son of Paul Warner's girlfriend on July 28 in Eatonville when Clark pulled a shotgun and racked the pump pointing it at the man saying, “you think this is a game?” The 50-year-old Warner charged Clark and was shot at point-blank range. He died at the scene.

“He was a hero. He was trying to save a kid that had a gun pointed at him, and he jumped in front of it,” Selvar said.

The 25-year-old Clark was arguing over the placement of a trailer on his family's property in Eatonville according to the charges. He had recently been released from prison on assault charges and now faces a charge of second-degree murder in Warner’s death.  And investigators say Clark had an accomplice

Pierce County sheriff's investigators are now looking for Christina Kitchens charged with helping Clark escape from the crime scene. Detectives said Kitchens often changes her appearance, releasing three different photographs of her along with a reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Tacoma and Pierce County. She is described as an on and off girlfriend of Clark's who allegedly drove him away from the crime and hid the shotgun used to kill Warner.

“We know that she was there when it occurred and that she knows that we’re looking for her,” said Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Detective Ed Troyer.

Clark pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday and was ordered held on $2 million bail.
