SEATTLE — The Seahawks are trying to trademark the word "boom" along with other Hawks quotes.

The Seattle Times reports the team quietly filed two dozen trademark applications in the last year-and-a-half.

Their push to trademark the phrase "Go Hawks" has been stalled because of backlash from other pro teams, including the Atlanta Hawks.

The request for "boom" is also on hold.

The team already owns rights to "Legion of Boom" and "Beast Mode."
