FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Firefighters responded Tuesday evening to a Federal Way apartment building.
At around 6 p.m., heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the Mariposa Apartments along 18th Avenue South.

Four people were transported to a local hospital after suffering minor injuries. A cause has not yet been determined; officials say some sort of explosion occurred.
