REMOND — Redmond police arrested a 21-year-old man Wednesday morning for possession of child pornography.
According to police, officers served a search warrant at a home in the 15800 block of Northeast 111th Street at about 9 a.m.
The man was taken into custody on charges of dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Detectives took a computer from the home as evidence.
Police said the man confessed to distribution of child pornography at the time the warrant was served.
The man will be taken to King County Jail.
Police said the residence was less than a block away from Rockwell Elementary School.
