Businesses evacuated for Lynnwood for hazmat incident

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Businesses in the 3400 block of 195th Place Southwest in Lynnwood were evacuated for an unknown substance leaking from a truck trailer Wednesday morning.

South Snohomish fire said there was a report of conduit tubes off-gassing in a commercial truck trailer and neighboring businesses were evacuated as a precaution while firefighters gathered information about the substance.

The trailer was not connected to a truck at the time of the incident.

Fire officials say they were able to find the owner of the trailer and found that the substance was not hazardous.
