Felon wanted in multiple vehicle thefts that injured two victims

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — Snohomish County authorities are looking for a man in connection with at least two robberies and four vehicle thefts, two of which resulted in injuries to victims.

The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force says it is looking for 34-year-old Jeremy Hill in the following crimes:

August 8: Hill and a female are suspected of stealing a Subaru from the 10500 block of Aurora Avenue North in Seattle.

August 9: Hill and two others are suspected of stealing a Toyota Highlander from the 13200 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy. The SUV was parked and running while the owner took a box over to a donation bin in the parking lot. When the driver's wife tried to open the door while Hill was inside, Hill quickly accelerated, and the 63-year-old woman was dragged about 18 feet, receiving multiple injuries, according to officers.

August 13: Hill is suspected of stealing a Ford Explorer from the 19500 block of Hwy 2 in Monroe.

August 15:

Hill is suspected of stealing a construction truck from 12400 block of 116th Avenue Northeast in Kirkland. The victim tried to stop Hill by reaching in the driver’s side window to grab him. During the struggle, the victim fell, receiving significant injuries. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center. %

All four stolen vehicles were recovered.

Police say Hill is a convicted felon and has a felony warrant out of Seattle and misdemeanor warrants for possession of vehicle theft tools and first-degree driving on a suspended license.

Detectives say they also have probable cause to arrest Hill on one count of first-degree robbery and two counts of theft of motor vehicle.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Hill has ties to the Monroe/Sky Valley area in east Snohomish County.
