Wednesday also happened to be Lynch’s 34th birthday.
@Kenmeezy told ESPN the people at the park were just outside enjoying the nice weather when Lynch came by. He said many people were already wearing their own masks.
Wednesday’s mask giveaway was just the latest way Lynch has given back to his hometown.
Lynch helped establish the Fam 1st Family Foundation in 2011 to “ensure that youth from Oakland, California were provided with opportunities to expand their horizons through sports and family support services.”

The foundation has gone on to support youth around the world.
Through his Fam 1st Family Foundation, Lynch, family members and friends have helped lead free football camps for kids, given away school supplies and free haircuts, hosted basketball tournaments and much more.
A former first-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2007, Lynch was traded to the Seahawks in October 2010 – Pete Carroll’s first season as head coach.
Lynched played in Seattle through the 2015 season. He was selected to the Pro Bowl four times with the Seahawks, was named first-team All Pro in 2012 and helped lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl XLVIII victory over the Denver Broncos.
Lynch would then go on to play two seasons with the Oakland Raiders before returning to play three games, two of which were in the playoffs, for the Seahawks last season.
