TACOMA, Wash. — Three people were taken into custody in connection with a man who was shot dead in the middle of a Tacoma street last month, police said Thursday.
Tacoma officers found the man, later identified as Raymond Serrano, on the ground on March 18, in the 300 block of East 26th Street. He was unresponsive.
Officers performed CPR on Serrano until Tacoma Fire Department medics arrived that night, but he died at the scene.
A 20-year-old, 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were booked into jail for investigation of second-degree murder and a drive-by shooting, police said.
