SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — A Washington State Trooper was injured in a crash Sunday morning on Snoqualmie Pass.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. on eastbound I-90 near Franklin Falls. The trooper was responding to an abandoned vehicle facing the wrong way.

While the trooper was investigating the vehicle, a pickup truck lost control and hit his patrol car, according to Trooper Rick Johnson.
The trooper was taken to the hospital with ankle, neck and back injuries. The trooper’s identity hasn’t been released.
The drive of the pickup also got an arm injury.
