Snohomish deputies arrested a man for DUI after they found him slumped over the wheel of a car in an intersection, said the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.

A deputy went to Admiralty Way and Gibson Road for a car that was running at the intersection but hadn’t moved.

He arrived and found the driver slumped over the steering wheel.

He also saw that the VIN didn’t match the plates.

More deputies arrived and made a plan to block the car to prevent the driver from getting away when he woke up.

The deputies successfully executed their plan and the man was taken into custody for DUI without incident.

He was also booked for possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and failure to transfer ownership.
