TUKWILA, Wash. — Police in Tukwila recovered stolen trucks, boats and more from a convicted felon’s property on Thursday morning.
Officers were sent to a house on 57th Avenue South around 6 a.m. to investigate after the theft prevention device in a car stolen late Wednesday started pinging at that location.

When they arrived, police said they found the car in the driveway with a 33-year-old man passed out in the driver’s seat.
Police said the man had multiple active warrants issued for his arrest.
When police spoke to the suspect, they said he reached for something under his leg and ignored their orders to stop. He was removed from the car and detained.
Officers found a gun under the seat where he had been reached. It is illegal for a convicted felon to possess a firearm. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
Police said they noticed a number of other cars, boats and tools scattered around the property. One of the trucks on the property was stolen and the driver had fled in it Wednesday morning, police said.
Police reported that the stolen property recovered includes: three trucks, two boats on two trailers, a gun inside one of the trailers, a trailer with a backhoe, a pressure washer, license plates, power tools and more.
Police said a majority of the items recovered were stolen in Tukwila over the last few months.
