Tacoma police arrested a suspected serial bank robber Friday afternoon, the police department announced Monday.
The 26-year-old man was found just before 4 p.m. Friday inside a vehicle in a parking lot in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
He was taken into custody without incident.
The man is suspected of robbing the O Bee Credit Union at 8002 Pacific Avenue on Dec. 29, 2021, and the Key Bank at 8402 Pacific Avenue on March 16, 2022.
The man was booked into the Pierce County Jail for two counts of robbery in the first degree. An investigation into other robberies he may be linked to is ongoing.
