FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A man and a teenager were shot in Federal Way overnight.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, officers were called to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of Southwest 320th Street near the Twin Lakes Plaza.
When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man with a life-threatening gunshot wound on his back.
Officers were then notified that there was a 14-year-old boy in the 4600 block of Southwest 320th Street who had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on his lower abdomen.
Both were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The man and the teenager appeared to have been involved in the same shooting incident, Federal Way Police Department Commander Kurt E. Schwan said in a news release.
Investigators said the shooting scene appeared to be on the road near the 3400 to 3500 block of Southwest 320th Street.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known.
Detectives from FWPD’s Criminal Investigation Section will assist with the investigation.
