SEATTLE — KIRO 7 toured the fireworks barge in Lake Union on Wednesday ahead of the July Fourth fireworks show.
There will be over 10,000 pounds of fireworks on the barge, event organizers said.
The show has been voted one of the nation’s best by USA Today.
Gates to Gas Works Park open at noon on Thursday and the fireworks show is expected to start at 10:15 p.m.
For the first time, a 21+ location at Lake Union Park will also be open, offering views of the show and an expansive beer garden. Gates open at 3 p.m.
