The cities of Kenmore and Burien extended their temporary moratorium on residential evictions until January on Monday, according to a pair of press releases.
Their moratoriums were scheduled to expire at the end of September and are now set to expire Jan. 15, 2022.
The extension is to give landlords and tenants more time to access rent assistance and for that aid to be distributed.
Seattle also recently extended its eviction moratorium to Jan. 15.
