A road was closed in Whatcom County after a car collided with a school bus Tuesday morning, according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 9 a.m. Tuesday, the sheriff’s office tweeted that West Pole Road between Old Guide and Aldrich Road in Lynden was closed due to the incident.
The bus driver and two students received minor injuries, while the driver of the car sustained serious injuries.
Deputies said the road would be closed for several hours.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
