Chambers Bay Golf Course closes in preparation for U.S. Open

The 2015 U.S. Open takes place at Chambers Bay on June 15-21, 2015. 
Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place is now closed to the public as workers get ready for the U.S. Open taking place in June. 
One hundred and twenty-four golfers are reported to have packed the golf course yesterday to squeeze in one last game before the closure.
The course is now only open to professionals until the end of the tournament.
Big names in golf are competing in the June 15 tournament, which is making its northwest debut. Among those are favorites like Rory McIlroy and 21-year-old Jordan Spieth. Also scheduled to compete are Tiger Woods and Phil Michelson.
