Single-game Seahawks tickets go on sale Monday morning

SEATTLE — Hundreds of people are lined up and ready to get Seahawks tickets.

Single game tickets go on sale Monday morning.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m., and no one is allowed to camp out on CenturyLink Field property.

So instead, people are camping out on the sidewalk just off the property. There were at least about 200 people at 4:30 a.m.

Sunday's opening day of training camp is the first sign that the NFL season is just around the corner.

A few thousand fans watched the players take the field at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton.

Quarterback Russell Wilson and the collection of Seahawks stars were running drills and plays.

Of course, the new class of NFL hopefuls were out there too, trying to make their mark.

Wilson said he is pumped to get started.

“I think back to 2012 when I got here and experiencing training camps and the energy, and it just keeps getting more and more. I think everybody gets super excited now every year. Just to be back, doing what we love most – that’s playing the game of football,” said Wilson.

Now, as far as single-game ticket sales, they can be purchased in person at CenturyLink Field or online on the Seahawks' website.

Each person can only buy four tickets total. They can be four tickets to one game, two tickets to two games or whatever the buyer chooses.

Most of the tickets are in the 300-level but there are some in the Hawks Nest too.

The people who are camped out will be able to start lining up at 7 a.m. right outside the box office.

Tickets will likely be sold out by 10 a.m.
