The woman who is accused of assisting the man who killed a Washington State Patrol trooper was found guilty Thursday afternoon.
Nineteen-year-old Megan Mollet was in the car when Joshua Blake shot officer Tony Radulescu in February.
According to officials, Mollet was convicted of lying to police when they were looking for Blake after the shooting.
Gina Miller, Radulescu’s girlfriend, was happy with the result of the trial.
“People need to know that to harm our law enforcement is unacceptable, and that they will be punished for it,” Miller said.
Mollett is one of three people convicted for criminal assistance in the case. Jessi Foster and Daniel Carter await trial.
Mollet is scheduled to be sentenced on June 5 and she could face up to 10 years.
