SEATTLE — A man was rescued from the water on Wednesday morning after he went overboard, according to Washington State Ferry officials.
Officials say the man was saved by the ‘stellar crews’ aboard the Seattle/ Bainbridge Island vessel -- Puyallup.
Washington State Ferries said all involved parties were safe as of 10:20 a.m.
The man and rescuers were headed to Seattle to meet aid responders on Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The Seattle Fire Department said the 27-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition after he jumped off of the ferry.
