Brendan Fraser won best actor honors for his role in “The Whale.”

“I will treasure this,” Fraser said. “But never more than the SAG card I have had in my wallet since 1991.”

“I think if I speak, my heart will explode,” Yeoh said. “Thank you. This is for every little girl who looks like me.”

“Thank you everyone for rooting for me,” Ke Huy Quan said after accepting his award for best actor in a supporting role. He became the first Asian male film winner.

“This moment no longer belongs to just me, it also belongs to everyone who has asked for change,” Quan said. “When I stepped away from acting it was because there were so few opportunities. The landscape looks so different now than before. So thank you so much to everyone in this room who contributed to these changes.”

“I was a little white girl, with a pug nose, born in Pasadena, California,” Field said. “And when I look around this room tonight, I know my plight, as hard as it was, was lightweight compared to some of yours.
