Former President Barack Obama will return to the White House Tuesday for the first time since he left in 2017 to appear with President Joe Biden when Biden announces plans to expand access to health care under the law dubbed Obamacare.
The two men will appear together at a 1:30 p.m. ET event.
According to the White House, Biden is set to announce plans to strengthen the health insurance law as well as address his efforts to further reduce health care costs and expand access to care.
Vice President Kamala Harris will join them in delivering remarks.
Obama has not been back to his former residence since leaving on the day former President Donald Trump was inaugurated.
