NEW YORK — A 21-year-old New York City woman, pushing her infant in a stroller, was attacked by her ex-boyfriend, who put her in a chokehold and stabbed her several times, authorities said.
The attack, in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, occurred at about 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, WPIX reported.
The woman was arguing with Carlos Gonzalez, 25, as they walked along the sidewalk when he allegedly put the woman in a chokehold, dragged her to the ground and then stabbed her before fleeing the scene, WABC reported.

The woman and infant boy were taken to an area hospital, WPIX reported. Police said both were in stable condition.
Gonzalez is described as standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with a thin build, having brown eyes and long black hair in braids, police said. He was last seen wearing yellow shorts, a white T-shirt, white sneakers and carrying a black bag.
