According to investigators, Alexander is a former GM employee, who applied to get a new job there, WJRT reported.
Alexander is accused of emailing threats of violence to personnel at the Flint plant after an employment offer was not extended, police confirmed.
After executing a warrant on Alexander’s residence, officers with the Flint Police Department found four guns, seven ammunition magazines and several dozen rounds of ammunition. They also seized a laptop computer and three iPhones, the TV station reported.
General Motors issued a statement Monday saying the company took immediate action to increase security at the Flint manufacturing complex, WJRT reported.
“We have been cooperating with local authorities throughout their investigation and we are pleased that they are taking the matter seriously,” a GM spokeswoman said in the prepared statement.
