The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has risen to $429 million in advance of Friday night’s drawing, lottery officials announced.
After no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday, the jackpot rolled to an estimated $429 million, with a cash payout of $233.6 million.
The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 14, 22, 48, 58 and 68, plus the gold Mega Ball 6.
The last time that anyone won the grand prize in the game, was in October.
Several large Mega Millions jackpots have been won in 2022, according to Mega Millions officials. On July 29, $1.337 billion was won in Illinois, and on Oct. 14, a $502 million prize was shared between winning tickets in California and Florida.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
