HARWINTON, Conn. — A 65-year-old Connecticut man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle into a bear, investigators said.
Connecticut State Police said Thomas Kovalik, of Plymouth, was riding a 1995 Harley-Davidson on Route 222 when he crashed into a bear around 10:30 p.m. and was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
