BOSTON — At least one person is dead and three others are in the hospital after gunfire erupted overnight in Boston, authorities said.

According to WFXT, the incident occurred early Monday near Irma and Arbutus streets in Dorchester. Emergency crews arrived to find four people wounded and rushed them to the hospital, where one victim died, Boston police said.
Police did not release any further details about the shooting, including a suspect description or the victim’s conditions.
Boston police continue to investigate with K-9 assistance, WFXT reported.
