BOISE, Idaho — Police in Idaho have arrested two suspects after one person was shot and killed on the campus of Boise State University, authorities said.
According to the Idaho Statesman and KMVT, the shooting occurred about 11:30 p.m. Monday on Chrisway Drive near the University Square housing complex. Boise police arrived to find one victim, who was rushed to a nearby hospital and later died, the news outlets reported.
As police searched the area, campus alerts instructed students to shelter in place, the Statesman reported. Investigators found and arrested two suspects, Boise police tweeted early Tuesday.

Authorities have not released the names of the victim or suspects, according to the news outlets. Police are asking people to avoid the area until they complete their investigation, KMVT reported.
