VIDOR, Texas — A 4-year-old boy is dead after he was discovered inside a hot car in Texas, authorities said.
According to KBMT and the Beaumont Enterprise, the incident occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday outside a business on North Main Street in Vidor. Orange County deputies received a report about an unresponsive child and arrived to find the boy dead in the parked vehicle, the outlets reported.
Deputies, who believe the boy had been inside the car for hours, have not arrested anyone in connection with the case but are still investigating, KBMT reported.
