LOS ANGELES — Fourteen people were hospitalized Wednesday morning when a Los Angeles metro bus collided with a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old, authorities said.
Three of the people injured were in critical condition, KTLA reported. The others had minor injuries, the television station reported.
The teen, who was driving a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, KTLA reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said it received a call about the crash at around 10:45 a.m., KCAL reported. The television station reported that the Volkswagen appeared to be cut in half.
The California Highway Patrol did not identify the car’s driver, KTLA reported.
