WESTMORELAND, Tenn. — Authorities in rural Tennessee captured a suspect Saturday during a manhunt that was prompted by the discovery of seven bodies in two homes.
Update 12:15 a.m. EST April 29: Authorities discovered two more bodies at a rural home in Sumner County Sunday, including a 12-year-old child, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Investigators are still in the process of identifying the victims.
The suspect in the murders, Michael Cummins, was shot as authorities tried to take him into custody Saturday after drawing a weapon on responding officers, according to ABC News. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.
Details on exactly what happened are still unclear and a motive in the killings is unknown at this time.

TBI agents and forensic scientists responded to a scene in Sumner County where multiple bodies have been found in two homes.
Four homicide victims were found inside a home on Charles Brown Road and a fifth deceased victim was found inside a home on Luby Brown Road.
According to the TBI, there is a reason to believe both scenes are related.
Sumner County is northeast of Nashville and borders Kentucky. The scenes are near the town of Westmoreland.
