Thunder, hail, showers roll into Western Washington

SEATTLE — Thunderstorms hit multiple neighborhoods throughout Western Washington Wednesday night, leaving showers and hail.

Chief Meteorologist Sam Argier has been tracking thunderstorm throughout the Puget Sound. Lightning strikes were detected in Seattle’s West Seattle and Magnolia neighborhoods. Hail, lightning and heavy rain were reported near the University Village.

Heavy rain moved from Seattle to the Eastside before 8 p.m.

At about 8:15 p.m. KIRO 7 PinPoint StormTracker spotted a line of heavy showers and storms moving southeast.
