Thousands without power in Snohomish County after severe weather, crash

Snohomish County PUD says 8,000 customers were without power Saturday morning -- due to an issue with a transmission line in the Marysville area.

SNOHOMISH CO., Wash — Weather is believed to be the culprit in the outage, which is impacting Marysville, Smokey Point, and South Arlington.

Hundreds remained without power on Saturday evening.
Friday night, a truck slammed into a pole in Marysville, cutting power to hundreds and closing State Avenue for hours.
Marysville officials said Friday there were no injuries or arrests as a result of the accident.
