SEATTLE — A 13-year-old boy was injured Saturday afternoon after falling through the skylight on a school roof in North Seattle, police said.
The incident happened after 5 p.m. at Nathan Eckstein Middle School in the 300 block of Northeast 75th Street.
Police said a group of boys were apparently jumping or attempting to jump over a skylight on the roof of the school. While attempting to jump, one boy crashed through the skylight and fell about 25 feet and landed on the floor inside the school.
Crews responded to the scene and medics took the teen to the hospital to be treated for his non-life-threatening injuries.
Police will continue to investigate the incident.
