SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Police Department is requesting the public’s help returning a collection of World War II medals they found during a recent inventory check.
Detectives haven't uncovered much information yet, but believe the war hero served in the XII Corp in Europe, received two bronze stars, and most likely retired as a colonel.
One of the bronze stars uncovered is for valor in combat.
