SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo is announcing an adorable new member to it's family this week.
Carson, a Red panda, arrived at the zoo in late February. He is currently the only red panda on exhibit.
The zoo's other red pandas - Yukiko and Stellar - live off exhibit, "where they can spend time together through the breeding season and beyond," the zoo writes.
Carson is younger than the other pandas and is very active during the day, the zoo reports.
He enjoys climbing trees in his exhibit, snacking on leaves and pinecones and chasing the occasional squirrel.
