SEATTLE — Kam Chancellor has returned to work as the Seattle Seahawks' favorite safety.
On Saturday, the team announced that Kam had been officially activated on the roster -- and would be making his debut in the Seahawks' home opener.
ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter quoted a text Chancellor sent to ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith.
"Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren't. God forgives all, why can't I? Time to help us get back to the big dance. I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission 2 years ago. I can't let my Dawg down....Real talk."
710ESPN radio reported that Chancellor is at the Seahawks training facility.
The status of his deal is not known.
Chancellor has not played in the first two games of the season and has not shown up to practice.
