SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after two people were found dead in an apartment in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood Monday afternoon.
Officers responded on a request to check the welfare of the tenant who lives in the Bell Tower apartment complex in the 2200 block of First Avenue at 12:30 p.m.
After officers knocked on the door, no one answered.
Building maintenance allowed the officers into the studio apartment, where two people were found dead on the ground.
Homicide detectives are now investigating the incident.
The cause of death of the two people have not been determined.
