Snohomish County PUD said a large portion of Monroe was without power Friday morning.
Shortly after 8 a.m., the utility district said it had three crews in the area who will be making repairs as soon as possible.
About 10,000 customers were without power.
At about 8:25 a.m., the PUD said the outage was caused by a downed wire that created a current that disrupted power at the Woods Creek substation. The Monroe substation is under maintenance.
Power was expected to take four to six hours to restore.
All power was restored by about 10:20 a.m.
