Man arrested in Edmonds New Year's Day stabbing

EDMONDS, Wash. — A Mountlake Terrace man has been arrested in the stabbing of a man at an Edmonds pub on New Year’s Day.

The victim, a 35-year-old Edmonds man, was fighting with the attacker at the Channel Marker Pub and Grill when he was stabbed in the abdomen.

The attacker then fled.

Police interviewed numerous witnesses and were able to positively identify the 32-year-old suspect.

The attacker was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on first-degree assault charges.
