SEATTLE — The Macklemore and Ryan Lewis music video shoot that brought thousands of people to Capitol Hill in July was released Monday.

The music video “White Walls (Ft. ScHoolboy Q and Hollis)” is the follow-up single to the No. 1 hits “Can’t Hold Us (Ft. Ray Dalton)” and “Thrift Shop.”

The video was shot at Capitol Hill’s Dick’s Drive In, which drew a large crowd.

“White Walls” is the sixth single from the hip-hop duo’s studio album "The Heist."

Macklemore and Lewis were the first duo to end their first two singles to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which has been tracking songs since 1958.

The last Seattle artist to reach that spot was Sir Mix-A-Lot in 1992 with “Baby Got Back.” Mix-A-Lot also has a cameo in the “White Walls” video, and Macklemore has said he wanted Mix-A-Lot to appear in the video for “Thrift Shop,” which has more than 416 million views on YouTube.

"The Heist" is the first studio album from Macklemore and Lewis and debuted at No. 1 on iTunes when it was released in October 2012. Macklemore, also known as Ben Haggerty, grew up in Seattle and attended Garfield and Nathan Hale high schools.
