Bartell Drugs is recalling some of its socks that are supposed to represent pride for Washington State University Cougars – but they have “Go Dawgs” written inside them.
On its website, Bartell writes the recall is for "Strideline WSU Ugly 1.2 College Cougar Socks."
"At least some—possibly all—of our stock has "Go Dawgs" printed on the inside cuff of the socks. Customers with an affected pair may return them regardless of the wear condition of the socks for a full refund," the recall reads.
The Seattle Times reports that Bartell sold about 245 paris of socks. They sold for $18 a pair.
Strideline is a Seattle based company known for selling unique socks. In October, their "Bone Zone" socks made national headlines.
