MONROE, Wash. — A wrong-way crash on State Route 522 in Monroe landed two people in the hospital.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a driver was heading west in the eastbound lanes when they hit one car and eventually crashed into a second one.
The two people who were hurt were taken to Providence Medical Center. No word on their conditions.
Troopers say drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
