Officials at Mount Rainier National Park say that due to a low snowpack, winter camping is still closed at Paradise.
The National Park Service only allows winter camping in Paradise when there is at least five feet of snow, and current conditions do not meet requirements for the area.
The area was first closed on January 15 with the snowpack going below five feet between the Nisqually and the Paradise corridor.
